Content update

Seit zwei Tagen haben wir neuen Content auf der Seite, die real life Sektion hat den ersten Inhalt erhalten. Dabei handelt es sich um einige Bilder von der Airshow 2009 in Volkel. Die Bilder sind von Diko gemacht wurden. Schaut Euch die Bilder einfach mal an und schreibt uns Eure Meinung dazu ins Gästebuch.

Joint Flight

Am nächsten Montag, den 03.August, werden die Virtual Falcons zusammen mit den Virtual Turkish Stars, dem Virtual F-16 Solo Display Team, dem Hugarian Gripen Display Team und dem Golden Star trainieren. Später werdet ihr dann in der Screenshotsektion Bilder davon finden.

Komplettes Webseitenlayout verändert

Seit heute erstrahlt unsere Webseite in einem neuen Glanz. Vorteile: Frames sind raus und die Ladezeiten haben sich verbessert. Zudem wird die Seite ab sofort Zweisprachig geführt. Der Teamspeak Viewer und das Gästebuch wurden nun endlich vernünftig in die Seite integriert.

Sonik hat das Team verlassen

Leider müssen wir bekannt geben, das uns unser früherer Display Pilot und ehemaliger Left Wing, plötzlich verlassen hat. Wir waren alle sehr überrascht über diese Aktion, wünschen ihm aber dennoch viel Glück in seinem neuen Team, in dem er sich bereits angemeldet hat....

Gleichzeitig geben wir bekannt, das sich aufgrund dieser Aktion eine neue Stelle aufgetan hat. Dieses ist dem Solo Team zugeordnet und läuft unter VF_#8|xxxxx Solo ADV2. Um nähere Informationen über Solo ADV2 zu bekommen, kannst Du Dich in der Struktur darüber informieren.

The Virtual Falcons are participating at Lowland Tiger Meet 2009

The Virtual Falcons Aerobatic Displayteam is about to be a part of the Lowland Tigermeet Live Performance. This performance will be displayed via stream, as it seems unfortunately at LLTM only. Whether a solution like VFAT will be possible is not yet known. Images and other impression will either be available after LLTM on their website and if it´s possible to get those ones, on our site also.

We will perform at 4th of April, time of day is not yet available.

Driverbase was updated massively

Today the driverbase was massively updated. I added X52 Vista driver for user who´re running Vista but not a pro Version of Saiteks Flightdeck. A Saitek Cyborg3D collection and Track IR driver was added also.

Just browse to our driverbase by moving the mouse right over Files and hit Driver or just follow this link

Almost successfully Aerobatic Show in VFAT 2008

Hello guys. Our Team has done the very first VFAT Show nearly successful. The only bad things which went wrong was the musictrack and the modification. They unfortunately caused some visual and listenable issues which were existing but not much distracting to the whole Show of the Virtual Falcons. We are glad now beeing a full part of the VFAT Community and so we are looking forward for VFAT 2009 to present you a much more impressive show. We unfortunately had to renounce on a Narrator this year. But we will definately will have one at VFAT 2009. Our performance will also be available soon as video, downloadable directly on the media section from our Website. The full narration will listenable there...and also good music...;). We say thank you to all of you guys who have seen us and given us a chance again to show you what the Virtual Falcons Aerobatic Display team is actually able to do.

VFAT for the Virtual Falcons comes close

After the VFAT Rehearsal desaster last weekend, so we hope that our life performance on VFAT will work without any technical issues. Please cross fingers for us.

Heavy technical TS problems while our very first participation on VFAT Rehearsal.

We say sorry for the strange show yesterday evening, but the Flight Group hat to handle with some unexpected issues. Teamspeak has thrown our pilots from the server one by one. Most of them weren´t able to rejoin TS again. Caused by switiching between the game and the desktop to try to get back to TS heavy lags appears also. So the Team was needed to fly his performance without any communication. Diko (Flight leader) never really knew whether his group is still with him or not.

Additionally to this the VFAT Team had some trouble to get our modification correctly installed. So Diko was used to fly the Performance on his own Server. We hope that these issues are fixed until next weekend.

Virtual Falcons are registered for VFAT 2009

The Virtual Falcons Aerobatic Display Team is now finally registered for VFAT 2008. That is the very first time that our Team is about to participate at this great Event. The time of day when our Team will perform will early enough be displayed right here.

Team Management has changed

I handed over the Head Management Position to Sonik. So Diko and Sonik belongs now to the Leading Team of our Squadron. The reason is quite simple. I have definately too much to do at the time as I could do my Manager Job correctly. There are several reasons why I decided to do. My Family Situation becomes to much heavy and I am also involved in some other projects besides Virtual Aerobatic, which currently keep me back from Leading the Team.

I will keep doing my job, creating the website, digital Arts and leading the Forum, but thats all. So please always contact Diko and/or Sonik for organizing questions roundabout VFAT and the Virtual Falcons.

Working at the website

All files have been transfered and are downloadable again.

The filebase is currently not available. Thats cause we are about to transfer all the files onto our own webserver so the files will be available again soon. We´ll keep you posted about it.

Some changings happened to the index page of the site. I added the new logo and replaced it with the old Emblem. Furthermore a note has been added to the portal which asked the user to use the Firefox browser to makesure that all contents will be displayed correctly. Thats why the Internet Explorer is causing to many bad issues in displaying the menus and some other contents of the page. It´s currently unfortuanately recommended to do this, until we found another solution.
